We would like to announce our upcoming conference about the Tabula Peutingeriana (October 8th to 10th) in Eichstätt, Germany.
The conference is jointly organized by the Ernst-Kirsten-Gesellschaft: Internationale Gesellschaft für Historische Geographie der Alten Welt
and the chair of ancient history in Eichstätt. The conference is open for everybody but we would appreciate a short announcement via e-mail

Sarah Tyacke writes: ISHMap members Marvin Falk and Alexey Postnikov have just  published  the above book on the Russian America era 1741-1867. From 1741 onwards cartographers and explorers struggled to define and develop the enormous region encompassing northeastern Asia, the north Pacific and Alaska. Good afternoon, 2011-15 IMC "Mappings" participants and others who might join us in 2016—

As you might know, we have held "Mappings" sessions at the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 International Medieval Congresses at Leeds [IMC].  After five years of very solid attendance and participation, “Mappings” has become a go-to component at the IMC.
